Specsavers Merthyr Tydfil is seeking a motivated Trainee Optical Assistant to join our friendly team. No prior experience required; we provide extensive training and development across optical and audiology services with support from experienced colleagues.

In this role you will welcome customers, book eye tests, pre-screen patients, offer style advice, measure frames, and answer calls. A positive, customer-focused attitude is essential for success in our fast-paced store environment.

The store is within easy walking distance of Merthyr Tydfil railway station, which provides regular direct services to Cardiff and surrounding areas, making it easily accessible for both customers and colleagues. Merthyr Tydfil bus station is also nearby, offering frequent local and regional bus services.
