OA are recruiting for a Trainee Operations Manager to join our client’s established removals business in Waltham Cross. You will gain hands-on experience across operations, customer service, sales and transport coordination while developing leadership and management skills.

The role starts at £35,000 per year with progression opportunities. Working with experienced managers, you will learn to coordinate domestic, overseas and commercial removals, plan schedules, allocate resources and monitor

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day running of a removals branch alongside experienced managers.
• Understand domestic, overseas and commercial removals and the processes from enquiry to job completion.
• Assist with planning and coordinating removal schedules, transport arrangements and staffing requirements.
• Allocate resources to meet operational requirements, including vehicles and personnel.
• Support monitoring of daily operations to ensure timeliness, safety and efficiency.
• Develop knowledge of fleet management, vehicle maintenance and transport compliance.
• Collaborate with drivers, removal operatives and office staff to clarify roles and responsibilities.
• Assist with team coordination, staff training and performance monitoring to build leadership skills.
• Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations and respond professionally to queries or complaints.
• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience during moves.
• Build relationships with customers, corporate accounts and business contacts.
• Assist with local sales and marketing to generate new business and increase branch revenue.
• Prepare, issue and follow up on quotations to maximise opportunities and secure new business.
• Identify opportunities and support development of new customer relationships and partnerships.
• Understand branch budgets, expenditure, profit margins and overall financial performance.
• Monitor KPIs such as revenue, costs and customer service levels and drive improvements.
