Zusammenfassung

Lime Tree Nursery is seeking a proactive Trainee Nursery Manager to join our family-run group across Rotherham and surrounding areas. You’ll support the Nursery Manager, mentor staff, and help deliver a high-quality, child-led curriculum within EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

This role offers hands-on leadership development, tailored CPD, regular mentoring, and clear progression toward becoming a Nursery Manager. Join our warm, family-friendly teams and embark on a rewarding leadership journey.

Qualifikationen

• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
• Experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner.
• Warm, confident communicator who can motivate and support others.
• Organised, proactive, and focused on delivering high-quality practice.
• A team player who wants to develop into a management role.

Aufgaben

• Support the Nursery Manager in day-to-day running and confidently step into the Manager role during their absence.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a passionate staff team while strengthening your own management skills.
• Help deliver an ambitious, child-led curriculum and create enabling environments where children can flourish.
• Ensure the nursery meets EYFS and Ofsted requirements, with the aim of achieving a minimum ‘Good’ rating.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents and families and ensure communication is warm, professional, and supportive.
• Assist with staffing ratios, record keeping, budgeting, petty cash, and maintaining accurate data.
• Welcome new families, support the key person system, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
