Balance Education Limited is recruiting a trainee Motor Vehicle Mechanics Tutor for a Wishaw client. The post offers full training and support, with a salary of £36,000–£42,000. The role focuses on teaching apprentice learners both in workshop and classroom settings.

The successful candidate will provide theory and practical instruction, with curriculum and lesson planning supplied. Monday–Friday, permanent and full-time, with a clear pathway to teacher training and development.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle mechanics.
• At least 5 years experience as a Motor Vehicle technician in the industry.
• A keen interest to work in education.

Responsibilities

• Provide theory and practical training to Light Vehicle apprentice learners in both workshop and classroom environments.
• Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided.
• You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.

This is a trainee Motor Vehicle Mechanics Tutor post for a qualified and experienced Technician. No teaching experience is required for this post and full teacher training and support is provided.

Our client is willing to take on a qualified Technician with industry experience and support them with teacher training.
