Balance Education Limited is recruiting a trainee Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Tutor in Camberwell, London. The role is to provide both theory and practical training to apprentice learners, using your industry knowledge to add real-world context.

Full teacher training and support are provided, even without prior teaching experience. Salary ranges from £42,000 to £45,000 per year, with a training and development programme, 33 days paid holiday and a pension.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle mechanics.
• At least 5 years experience as an HGV/Heavy Vehicle mechanic or technician in the industry.
• A keen interest to work in education.

Responsibilities

• Provide theory and practical training to HGV/Heavy Vehicle apprentice learners in both workshop and classroom environments.
• Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. Demonstrate topics and share industry experiences to give real world context.

Our client is willing to take on a qualified Heavy Vehicle/HGV mechanic/technician with industry experience and support them with teacher training.
