Job summary

Balance Education Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced HGV/HV technician to train apprentice learners as a trainee Heavy Vehicle/HGV Mechanics Tutor in Wishaw. No teaching experience is required as full teacher training and support is provided.

The role is Monday to Friday, permanent, full-time, with a salary of £36,000–£42,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in the industry, an Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle mechanics, and

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle mechanics.
• 5+ years experience as an HGV/Heavy Vehicle technician.
• Desire to transition to education is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide theory and practical training to HGV apprentice learners in workshop and classroom.
• Deliver curriculum, facilities and lesson planning as provided, sharing industry experience.

Job Description:-

Provide theory and practical training to HGV/Heavy Vehicle apprentice learners in both workshop and classroom environments.

Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided. You will be using your knowledge and experience to present and demonstrate topics and will be encouraged to share your industry experiences to give real world industry context.
