This role offers full training, including a structured Distance Learning Programme, and a starting salary of £28,000 per year. Training begins immediately with a path to the full shift pattern after probation.

No milling experience is needed; ideal for hands-on, reliable individuals eager to learn and develop a skilled trade.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Ability to perform physical and manual tasks in a factory environment.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and monitor traditional milling machinery.
• Carry out practical tasks throughout the milling process.
• Make manual adjustments to machinery and equipment as needed.
• Monitor production to ensure products meet standards.
• Support the wider production and milling team.
• Complete on-the-job training alongside the Distance Learning Programme.
• Follow health, safety and food production procedures.
• Progress to the full shift pattern after training.
