Optima UK INC Ltd is seeking a motivated Trainee Metal Operative to join its specialist manufacturing team in Leicester. You will learn to manufacture and finish high-quality metal components as part of bespoke furniture and interiors projects.

No prior experience is required; full training will be provided. The role offers on-site training, stable full-time hours, and the opportunity to develop practical metalworking skills within a supportive, skilled team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with manufacturing, machining and finishing processes.
• Prepare materials accurately for production.
• Measure and mark materials using drawings and specifications.
• Learn to safely operate machinery, tools and equipment.
• Follow technical drawings, measurements and instructions.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure work meets required standards.
• Assist with preparing machinery, tools and materials.
• Maintain tools, machinery and the work area in a clean and safe condition.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a skilled manufacturing team to meet production requirements.
