Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Leicester is seeking an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join a skilled team on high-end bespoke projects. You will fabricate and weld components from drawings, using TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and brass. The role offers long-term opportunity with training.

Qualifications

• Experience as Welder Fabricator in manufacturing/fabrication.
• Strong TIG welding skills.
• Experience with stainless steel and mild steel; aluminium/brass a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Prototype or bespoke fabrication experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld bespoke components to a high standard.
• Work from engineering drawings, sketches, and design concepts to produce finished products.
• Manufacture prototype and one-off items with minimal guidance.
• TIG weld a variety of materials, including stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, and brass.
• Assemble, finish, and inspect fabricated products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Work independently to solve fabrication challenges and deliver projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
