Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with a background in automotive, plant, marine, agricultural, or industrial mechanics.
• Hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools and mechanical assemblies.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Eagerness to follow structured engineering drawings and instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork in a small, expert team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical governor units and precision sub-assemblies.
• Set up governors on test benches and calibrate to specifications.
• Strip down, inspect, clean and assess returned units for wear and tolerances.
• Complete accurate service records, test reports and quality checks.
• Collaborate with senior technicians on complex builds and fault investigations.
