Job summary

Radius Limited in Crewe is recruiting a Trainee Management Accountant (Part-Qualified) to join the Finance & Commercial department. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support monthly reporting, analysis, and process improvements.

The role provides exposure to controllership and commercial finance, with study support for CIMA/ACCA and a structured development path within a fast-growing tech-enabled mobility business.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly management accounts preparation, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support production of financial reporting packs and commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Perform variance analysis against budgets/forecasts.
• Maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines.
• Assist year-end accounting processes and prepare audit schedules.
• Suggest process improvements and controls enhancements.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to Finance Manager and collaborate with Group/Tax/Compliance teams.

The role of TraineeManagement Accountant(Part Qualified) within our Vehicle Solutions business is a great opportunity to develop your career in finance. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with both the Financial Control and Commercial Finance teams, providing key support through accurate financial reporting, analysis, and process improvement initiatives

What you’ll be doing

• Assistingwith the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit & loss and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Helping to produce financial reporting packs and commentary for review by senior finance stakeholders.
• Supporting the team in comparing actual performance to budgets and forecasts, preparing variance analysis.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
• Assistingwith year-end accounting processes, including the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for external auditors
• Improvingcurrentprocesses and controls, and suggesting ideas for efficiency.
• Providing ad hoc analysis and support to the Finance Manager.
• Collaborating with central teams (Group, Tax, Compliance) as needed.
