Caledonian Maritime Assets Limited (CMAL) owns the ferries, ports and harbours necessary for vital ferry services serving the West Coast of Scotland and the Clyde Estuary. We aim to provide efficient, cost effective and safe vessels, harbours and associated port infrastructure for operators, communities and users in and around Scotland.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Trainee Management Accountant is an exciting new role within our small, dynamic Finance Team. This role will be supported with training, both formal and in-house and the post holder will be required to study towards and sit the exams of a professional accounting body. Primary tasks and responsibilities are supporting the Management Accountants within the company by assisting in the preparation of:
The post holder will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will ideally be working towards their professional qualification. Prior experience working in a busy finance team setting is essential. The post holder must be able to communicate well with others from multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
