About The Role

Our Finance team in Milton Keynes is recruiting for a Trainee Management Accountant on a full-time, three-year contract, during which you will have the opportunity to study towards a CIMA or ACCA qualification.

What you could be doing:

• Supporting the management accounts function to ensure accurate reporting, reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager.
• Participating in the month-end reporting process by calculating and processing accounting adjustments and journals, ensuring compliance with reporting timelines and accounting standards.
• Preparing balance reconciliations and reviewing them with relevant stakeholders.
• Collating and preparing financial forecast data for upload into the SAP finance system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Handling audit queries and providing all required deliverables promptly.
• Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc data and analysis requests.

Skills and experience you can bring to the role:

• Achievement of the ACCA Diploma in Accounting & Business (RQL Level 4), AAT professional Diploma in Accounting, or a relevant accounting, finance, or business degree.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
• Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders.
• Effective communication skills and a process improvement mindset.
