Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group is seeking a Trainee Welder in Blandford to build a genuine trade from the ground up. Full training is provided from night one, and no prior welding experience is required.

The role offers a night shift pattern Monday to Friday (18:00–07:00) with a four-day week, overtime and bonus schemes, plus free parking and refreshments. You will learn machine operation, setup, manual handling, and basic housekeeping in a supportive team focused on long‑term progression.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail for a hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Operate a machine and ensure it produces the required product.
• Keep the machine area safe, clean and organised.
• Perform setting up, tool changes and manual handling as needed.
• Maintain general housekeeping and safe working practices.
• Support shift handovers and contribute to ongoing improvement.
