Job Title: Trainee Machine Operator

Location: Rainham, Essex (RM13 9PF)

Salary: £550 per week (£12.94p/h) depending on experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Basic working hours: 6am - 3.30pm, 42.5 hours per week

As a result of ongoing growth and expansion, Rainham Steel, a leading UK steel stockholder, requires trainee machine operatives to work at our Rainham, Essex depot. Offering a competitive rate of pay, a dynamic and friendly working environment, and a secure position within an established company.

The Role:

• Reporting to the warehouse manager
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
• Loading the machine, setting different shapes, and quality checking the finished product
• Assembling bundles for packing
• Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling
• Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary

• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent communication both verbal and written
• Organised and motivated
• Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
• Able to work in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
• Good command of the English language
