Teaching Personnel is seeking a Trainee Learning Support Assistant to support secondary school pupils (11-18) in classrooms and across lessons. The role offers funded training and DBS support, with a focus on inclusion and positive behaviour in a Cardiff environment.

Starting September 2026, the position runs term-time during 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with pay at £120 per day and weekly PAYE. No previous school experience required, just transferable skills and a passion for education.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in supporting young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, positive approach to learning and development.
• Willingness to complete essential training (fully funded).
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check (support provided).
