Job summary

Polypipe Building Services is seeking a Trainee Lean Practitioner to support continuous improvement across manufacturing, warehousing and support functions. You will help identify and deliver improvements, reduce waste and enhance operational performance through lean methodologies and problem solving.

Join a dynamic manufacturing environment with hands-on experience in continuous improvement and the rollout of the Genuit Business System (GBS) across the site.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement and Lean methods.
• Ability to learn lean tools and apply problem-solving techniques.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support identification and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, warehousing and support functions.
• Learn and apply lean methodologies to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity.
• Plan, facilitate and lead Kaizen workshops and improvement events.
• Collaborate with frontline teams to implement sustainable improvements.
