Job summary

Creagh Concrete is seeking a trainee laboratory technician across Northern Ireland. You will support the Quality and Technical teams by testing concrete samples, recording results, and helping ensure products meet exacting quality standards.

The role offers full training, progression to industry qualifications, and a clear pathway within a growing business. A driving licence and willingness to travel between Creagh sites across Northern Ireland are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compressive strength testing on concrete samples.
• Prepare and record concrete test results accurately.
• Monitor product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Assist with laboratory inspections and equipment maintenance.
• Collect samples from production areas and construction sites.
• Complete test reports and maintain accurate records.
• Create and trial different concrete mixes
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and quality standards.

The Role

What We’re Looking For

• A keen interest in construction, engineering, or science.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• A willingness to travel between Creagh sites throughout Northern Ireland.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
