Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler in Farnborough to assemble electrical and mechanical components, perform basic soldering, and ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a salary of £30K-£32K per year or £15-£18 per hour. You will read assembly drawings, use hand and power tools, inspect work, and report faults while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to assemble electromechanical components to drawings and quality standards.
• Basic soldering of electrical components and wiring.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Commitment to health, safety and clean working environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical products per drawings and instructions.
• Carry out basic soldering and cable termination.
• Fit, wire and connect assemblies accurately.
• Inspect completed assemblies for quality and performance.
• Identify and report faults or issues to supervisor.
• Follow health and safety procedures and keep workstation safe and clean.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet production targets.
