Job summary

Reynolds Food Group is launching a Trainee Driver Academy in Grangemouth to train individuals into qualified LGV/HGV drivers. Starting salary is £31,725 with an incentive to grow as you complete the Class 2 licence, and you will work an average of 48 hours a week across five days in seven, including Saturdays.

During training you may drive a 3.5T vehicle and learn on the job with a mentor. After theory and Class 2, you’ll drive a 7.5T vehicle for up to 8 weeks, then progress to an HGV Class 2 as

Qualifications

• Have a clean UK driving licence.
• Willing to train as an LGV/HGV driver and obtain Class 2 licence.
• Keen to work in a family-run business and learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Train in a 3.5T vehicle and learn from a mentor.
• Drive a 7.5T vehicle for up to 8 weeks during training to gain experience.
• Progress to an HGV Class 2 vehicle after assessment and signing off as Reynolds qualified Class 2 Driver.
• All applicants will undergo a DBS and a DVLA licence check.
