Job summary

Reynolds Food Group in Waltham Cross invites you to join the Trainee HGV Class 2 Driver Open Day. You will train while earning a salary, learning from experienced drivers as you build confidence through multi‑drop deliveries of fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and alcohol to our customers.

Suitable candidates should be prepared for early starts (12am–4am) and physical work; after successful training and assessment you’ll become a qualified Reynolds Class 2 Driver with career development and pension

• Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable with early starts and physical work.
• Interested in building a career in HGV driving.

Responsibilities

• Paired with experienced drivers to learn the job and build confidence.
• Involved in multi‑drop deliveries of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, and alcohol to customers.
• Handle early starts between 12am and 4am due to delivery schedules.
• Complete training and assessment to become a Reynolds Class 2 Driver.

Trainee HGV Class 2 Driver – Open Day 29th August

£31,724.16 during training – rising to £43,363 + bonuses once qualified

48 hours | 5/7 shift pattern

Want to become a Class 2 Driver but don’t have your licence yet?

Our Trainee Driver Academy (TDA) gives you the training and support you need to get qualified, while you earn a salary along the way.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be paired with experienced drivers while you learn the job and build your confidence.

You’ll be involved in multi-drop deliveries, delivering: Fresh fruit and vegetables, Meat and fish and Alcohol. Our customers include restaurants, museums and other hospitality venues.

It’s a hands‑on job, so you’ll need to be comfortable with physical work, multiple deliveries and early starts between 12am and 4am.

Once you’ve completed your training and passed your assessment, you’ll become a qualified Reynolds Class 2 Driver.
