• Shift Pattern: average 48 hours, 5/6 shift pattern

Overview

The Trainee Driver Academy (TDA) provides a pathway for prospective employees and current Reynolds employees with a good work ethic to join our distribution team and train to become qualified LGV/HGV Drivers.

Training & Progression

1. Start on the basic salary (£30,476) driving a 3.5T vehicle and studying theory.
2. Upon qualification, drive a 7.5T vehicle for up to 8 weeks to gain HGV experience; salary increases to £34,400.
3. Complete assessment; upon success, become a Reynolds qualified Class 2 Driver with a salary of £40,570.

Requirements

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence
• Willing to undergo DVLA licence check and DBS check
• Licence without TT99, DD, CD, or DG codes, and not revoked
• No prior completion of Theory/Hazard Perception/CPC 2 training
