Salary: £561.44 per week (rising to £730.87 per week upon completion and move into Class 2 position)

Do you have your Class B car licence with the desire to further your career and gain your Class 2 licence, with all training and licensing costs covered?

To join the Warburtons family, you’ll need a full current UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points. You should have good knowledge of transport legislation, be reliable, responsible, customer-focused, and experienced in working in a fast-paced environment, ideally with multi-drop or home delivery experience and previous order picking experience.

The Recipe

• Support from driver training teams in an intensive course to gain your Class 2 Licence at no cost to you.
• Ongoing fully funded Driver CPC training (conducted during work hours).
• Be an early riser; shifts start around 3.30am. Early mornings, but afternoons free.
• Enjoy autonomy: deliver notes (or electronic devices) to accurately pick orders and load bakery products onto your vehicle.
• Work set contracted hours with stable shift patterns, averaging 43 hours a week over a rotating 5-day schedule, including weekends. Weekly hours may vary to help you plan your life better.

Key Accountabilities and Measures

Our Bristol Bakery and Distribution depot is located at Severn Beach, near Bristol, a 15-minute drive from the M5 and 10 minutes from Severn Bridge (toll-free from Wales).
We operate 3 advanced manufacturing plants, including Bristol Bakery, home to our latest innovation, The Bagel! We produce over 12 types of bakery products, totaling over 160,000 units daily, delighting families across the UK.
With nearly 400 colleagues from over 21 nationalities, working various shifts, the bakery operates 363 days a year, 24/7.
Bristol is also a dedicated Driver Training Centre and Distribution hub!
