Shifts and Salary

Shifts: 43 hours per week, 5 over 7 rolling rota

Salary: £561.44 per week (rising to £730.87 upon completion and move into Class 2 position)

Qualifications and Requirements

Do you have your Class B car licence with the desire to further your career and gain your Class 2 licence? All training and licensing costs will be covered.

To join the Warburtons family, you'll need a full current UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points, good knowledge of transport legislation, reliability, responsibility, customer focus, and experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally with multi-drop or home delivery experience, and previous order picking experience is preferred.

The Recipe

• Support from driver training teams in an intensive course to gain your Class 2 Licence at no cost.
• Fully funded Driver CPC training during work hours.
• Early start shifts at around 3:30 am, with afternoons free.
• Autonomy in delivering and loading bakery products, using delivery notes or electronic devices to pick orders accurately.
• Stable, set contracted hours with a rotating 5-day schedule, including weekends, averaging around 43 hours per week, designed to help you plan your life.

Key Accountabilities and Measures

Our Bristol Bakery and Distribution depot is located at Severn Beach, near Bristol, close to the M5 and Severn Bridge (toll-free from Wales). We operate three manufacturing plants, including Bristol, home to our latest innovation, The Bagel. Bristol produces over 160,000 units of bakery products daily, serving families across the UK. With nearly 400 colleagues from over 21 nationalities, working various shifts, the bakery operates 363 days a year, 24/7. Bristol also serves as a Driver Training Centre and Distribution hub.
