Job summary

Balance Education Limited is recruiting a trainee Heavy Vehicle Mechanics Tutor near Milton Keynes. You will provide theory and practical training to HGV apprentices in workshop and classroom settings, drawing on your industry experience and mentoring them to develop skills.

Full teacher training and ongoing support are provided. Monday to Friday, permanent, full-time with a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle mechanics
• 5+ years experience as an HGV/Heavy Vehicle mechanic or technician in the industry
• A keen interest to work in education.

Responsibilities

• Provide theory and practical training to HGV apprentices in workshop and classroom environments.
• Curriculum, facilities and lesson planning is provided and you will share industry experiences for real-world context.
• Balance Education Limited conducts safeguarding and applicants may be vetted; role may involve work with under 18's or vulnerable adults.
