Job summary

Citizens Advice Mid Mercia is looking for a full-time Trainee Generalist Advisor to join our Core Advice Team. The role will involve taking calls on our advice line, completing client assessments and booking advice appointments, and also conducting your own client appointments.

Full training and support will be provided to enable you to carry out the role effectively, with a focus on accurate information, high-quality service and safeguarding client confidentiality.

The role will be split between taking calls on our advice line where you will complete an assessment with the client and book them in for an advice appointment and you will also hold your own advice appointment with clients.

Experience is not necessary, but we are looking for someone who:

• Can monitor and maintain own standards ensuring work is accurate
• Has worked in a public-facing role
