Job summary

ASI Recruitment is seeking a motivated Trainee Garage Equipment Engineer to join our growing team. You will learn by working with an experienced engineer, travelling to garages and workshops to install, service and maintain a range of equipment.

This is a hands-on role with full training provided; you'll gain practical skills across lifting equipment, MOT/testing gear, compressors and workshop machinery, with a view to becoming a fully qualified engineer.

Qualifications

• Mechanically minded and practical
• Hands-on problem solving and assembly
• Willing to learn and develop new skills
• Able to travel to customer sites across the UK

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, servicing and maintenance of garage equipment
• Travel to garages and workshops to learn on-site
• Diagnose faults and help with repairs
• Progress to independent engineer with ongoing training
