Job summary

Anchor Fire Ltd is seeking an organised office-oriented candidate to join the team in London/Essex. You will manage engineers' diaries, book maintenance visits, handle client calls, and prepare service reports and certificates while keeping records and invoicing accurate.

You will learn fire safety standards (BS 5839, BS 9999, Fire Safety Act, Building Safety Act) and work toward a fire door inspection qualification, with time on site alongside our inspector and MD.

Qualifications

• Well organized and able to hold several jobs in your head at once without dropping any.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Confident on the phone, including when someone is annoyed.
• Quick with computers and able to use a computer system effectively.
• Willing to learn a technical trade and build a career in fire safety.
• Driving licence is essential for site work.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineers' diaries and ensure the right person is on the right job with the right kit.
• Book in planned maintenance visits and reactive callouts.
• Answer the phone to clients and sort out their needs.
• Send out service reports and certificates.
• Keep the job management system accurate to support records and invoicing.
