Job summary

Brooks Macdonald Group plc is recruiting a Trainee Financial Planner in Norwich. The role focuses on supporting private client planning under supervision while developing the knowledge, qualifications and experience needed to become a qualified advisory professional.

You will gain exposure to client meetings, pre-meeting preparation, and administrative support across paraplanning and implementation tasks within a compliant framework.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 4 or working towards it, with progression to Chartered status.
• Experience in an IFA practice or similar environment is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Planners with pre-meeting preparation and documentation.
• Prepare review packs, valuations and meeting materials.
• Maintain accurate client records in CRM and support implementation of recommendations.
