Job summary

Brooks Macdonald Group is seeking aspiring Trainee Financial Planners to provide all-around financial planning support under supervision. The role develops skills, qualifications and experience required to progress into a fully qualified advisory role within a leading wealth management firm.

You will assist with client liaison, research, and administrative duties while working towards Diploma Level 4 and Chartered status with support from the Brooks Macdonald Academy.

Qualifications

• Diploma Level 4 qualified or actively working towards it.
• Experience in an IFA practice or similar environment is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent time management, organisation and attention to detail; client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist Financial Planners with pre-meeting preparation and documentation.
• Provide administrative support and manage client queries up to advice point.
• Prepare review packs, valuations and meeting materials, updating CRM and fact-finds.
• Support implementation of recommendations, including paperwork and platform processing under supervision.
• Adhere to regulatory, compliance and conduct requirements including AML/KYC and Treating Customers Fairly.
