Job summary

Capio Recruitment Financial Planning in Leeds is seeking a Trainee Financial Adviser to join a high‑performing team. You will work closely with Sales Managers and Advisers, supporting client meetings and developing toward full adviser status within a structured 6 to 12 month training programme, mentored by experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice is essential.
• Experience in an IFA/private wealth environment.
• Demonstrable exposure to client meetings.
• Willingness to pursue Chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Prepare background notes and materials ahead of client meetings.
• Attend client meetings and take accurate notes.
• Update client information and asset/income schedules.
• Support advisers with policy information and research.
• Prepare follow-up communications and actions for clients.
• Submit handovers to admin and track client journey.
• Prepare briefing notes and client correspondence.
• Progress to leading client meetings independently over time.
• Handle client calls and queries professionally.
• Book client calls and meetings for advisers.
