Job summary

Medstrom Ltd. is seeking a Trainee Service Technician based in Swansea with visits to Cardiff service centre. The role offers a 37.5-hour week, with options Wednesday–Sunday or Saturday–Wednesday, and on-call duties to support customers after training.

Initial training provided; you will deliver and set up products for patients, perform maintenance and repairs, and maintain documentation. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and Employee Ownership Trust participation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical background desirable, but full training will be provided.
• Delivery driving experience and route planning would be desirable.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean, ready-to-use products to and around customer sites.
• Collect products after use and return to the service location for decontamination.
• Disinfect, function-check, repair and electrical-safety test products.
• Complete records of testing, delivery and collection.
• Maintain available product stock and spare parts inventory.
• Complete product modifications when required.
• Provide product demonstrations and basic training to staff.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
