Job summary

Hotpoint is seeking a Trainee Field Service Engineer to train and qualify for on-site appliance repair work. You will visit customers’ homes, diagnose and fix household appliances, and provide outstanding customer service while handling tools and parts stock.

No experience is required—full training is provided, including classroom, shadowing, and on-the-job learning. A company van, commission opportunities, and progression within 12 months support your career path.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and a hands-on problem-solving approach.
• Interest in electrics, mechanics or hands-on troubleshooting.
• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Physically able to move and lift appliances.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• No prior field engineering experience required, just a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Drive your own Hotpoint van to customer appointments.
• Diagnose and repair household appliances such as tumble dryers, cookers and washing machines.
• Provide high-quality customer service on every visit.
• Manage tools and spare parts stock efficiently.
• Promote Hotpoint products to customers.
