Job summary

Fort Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Field Engineer (Water Industry) to install and configure monitoring equipment and repair and maintain valves on the clean water network in and around your region. The role offers a fully expensed company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop, and full training with certifications.

The position is full-time with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with progression opportunities as you complete training and gain experience in the water industry.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong work ethic and a desire to learn quickly during training.
• Ability to interact with customers/clients daily.

Responsibilities

• Drive between sites and work outside in all weather conditions.
• Lift, carry and move equipment and chamber covers.
• Enter and work within confined spaces.
• Install and maintain a variety of mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
