Omega Red Group is hiring a Trainee Fall Protection Operative to join our Height Safety team. You will learn and assist with installation, testing, inspection, and repair of height safety systems across the UK.

This role offers full training, potential NVQ in Working at Heights after a qualifying period, and a pathway to a long-term career in the industry. A proactive, safety-conscious approach and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop practical skills on-site.
• Interest in hands-on, field-based work across multiple sites.
• Ability to travel nationwide as part of the role.
• Strong teamwork and communication within installation teams.
• Willingness to work at height and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with installation, testing, inspection and repair of height safety systems.
• Learn safe working practices and site procedures at a variety of UK sites.
• Support project delivery to ensure high quality and safety standards.
• Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work on site.
• Develop technical skills through on-the-job training and formal learning.
