Job summary

Niko is offering a Full-time Trainee Fabricator role in a Southam workshop, with hands-on training in metal fabrication, welding and machinery use. You will support daily operations and work toward becoming a qualified welder/fabricator, with no prior experience required.

A positive attitude and reliability matter most as you join a supportive team. The role includes learning preparation of steel for welding, assisting with scheduling and orders, and upholding safety and ISO 9001 procedures

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.
• Experience in a fabrication or workshop environment.
• Ability to understand technical drawings.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Learning how to prepare steel for welding, including cutting, bending and drilling.
• Supporting practical workshop tasks, including the safe lifting and handling of materials.
• Helping to complete work orders accurately and on time.
• Assisting with material scheduling and ordering.
• Undertaking the training and tasks needed to become a qualified welder/fabricator.
• Following health and safety requirements and Niko's ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
• Helping to resolve technical problems and suggesting improvements where appropriate.
