Job summary

CTR Select in Englefield Green is recruiting a Trainee Estimator to join our client on-site. The role is office-based Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4pm, with an emphasis on learning estimating software, preparing quotations, and performing labour and material take-offs.

The ideal candidate will bring good IT skills (Excel), strong communication on the phone, a professional attitude, and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy, client-led setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilising estimating software to build quotations.
• Reviewing tender information and clarifications.

• Work on own initiative and manage high work volumes and priorities.
• Demonstrate excellent time management and multitasking.
• Operate in a client-led role.
• Report to the Estimating Manager.

Trainee Estimator

CTR Select are currently recruiting for a Trainee Estimator to join our client based in Englefield Green. Office based Monday - Friday 7.30am -4pm.

We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, thrives in a team environment, and can meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Utilising estimating software to build quotations
• Reviewing tender information to highlight any necessary tender clarifications
• Develop cost plans and budget estimates
• Liaising with the estimating manager and other senior personnel on current estimates and the handover of projects upon order of contract
• Carrying out labour and material take-off's
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to deal with high work volumes and prioritise accordingly
• Excellent time management and ability to multitask
• Working within a client lead role
• Reporting to the Estimating Manager
