Job summary

Riverside Environmental Services Ltd, part of the Celnor Group, is recruiting for a Trainee Environmental Consultant. The role offers fully funded, on-the-job training to become an Asbestos Surveyor and Analyst, with progression into consultancy and project management within a structured Training Academy.

Starting salary is set within the mid-£20k-£30k range with academy bonuses and a clear path to higher pay as you advance.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or higher.
• Willingness to commit to 2–4 hours of personal study per week as part of the training programme.
• Full UK driving licence and confidence with regular driving.
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.
• A professional, friendly and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to successfully complete technical training, audits and examinations.
• A methodical and detail oriented approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Start training as an Asbestos Surveyor and Analyst, gaining hands-on experience before progressing into consultancy and project management.
• Support the Training Academy led by an experienced manager focused on developing emerging talent.
• Participate in the Asbestos Consultant Programme designed to accelerate career progression through technical training and leadership development.
• Contribute to on-the-job training with nationally recognised providers such as BOHS and RSPH.
