Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a Trainee Engineering Sales Executive for our Northamptonshire offices. The role is full-time and office-based, with a base salary of £30,000–£35,000 plus car allowance, commission and a clear path to progression.

You will learn all aspects of the sales process from a Senior Sales Manager, with on-the-job training. Some UK travel to client sites will be required; a full UK driving licence and company car/allowance are provided.

Qualifications

• Not afraid of outbound Sales calls and have some Sales/Telesales/Field sales background
• Natural communicator able to speak to people at all levels, especially over the phone
• Willing to develop a career in Construction/Engineering/Technical industries
• Proactive, driven, tenacious and eager to earn commission on top of base salary
• Willing to learn and thrive in a challenging sales environment

Responsibilities

• Following up on leads and making outbound calls to identify the right decision maker
• Lead generation and assisting with quotations
• Attend client meetings with the Sales team across the south of the UK (approx one visit a week)
• Participate in Teams meetings with potential clients and contribute to pitches
• Assist with quotations and pitches to win new contracts
