Engine Hub in Kings Langley is seeking a Trainee Vehicle Mechanic / Engine Technician to join our engine team. This hands-on, workshop‑based role is ideal for someone practical and mechanically minded who wants to learn a skilled trade.

You will gain experience in engine removal, rebuilding and diagnostic work, with pay progression as you develop, and long-term career opportunities within Engine Hub.

Qualifications

• Practical, mechanically minded and genuinely interested in cars and engines.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions with good attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• No university degree required; driving license advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Learn vehicle inspection, servicing and routine maintenance.
• Assist engine removal, installation and rebuilding.
• Gain experience with diagnostic equipment and fault finding.
• Progress towards becoming a competent Vehicle Mechanic and Engine Technician.
