Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a post holder to train as part of the Clinical Endoscopist team, supporting the safe and effective delivery of endoscopy services across East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. The role involves working across the Burnley site and other ELHT locations, including backfill for cancelled endoscopy lists.

The post holder will complete a recognised Clinical Endoscopist training programme with supervised practice before progressing to independent work.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy training required or in progress.
• Experience in infection prevention and control is desirable.
• Commitment to clinical governance and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe and effective delivery of endoscopy services.
• Complete a recognised Clinical Endoscopist training programme with supervision.
• Contribute to clinical audit, service improvement and research.
