Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nurse Endoscopist to deliver high-quality, autonomous endoscopic services within the Endoscopy Unit. The post holder will independently assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures within their scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform upper and/or lower GI endoscopic procedures (OGD, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy where trained).
• Obtain informed consent in line with Trust policies.
• Undertake comprehensive patient assessment before, during and after procedures.
