Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Endoscopy. The role focuses on advancing therapeutic endoscopy, including ERCP, and consolidating skills with specialist training and supervision.

Applicants should be JAG-accredited in upper and lower GI endoscopy, with an interest in audit, research and teaching within the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Service. Outpatient work and CPD opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Endoscopist with JAG accreditation in upper and lower GI endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic endoscopy and colonoscopy at accredited level.
• Develop advanced therapeutic endoscopy skills including ERCP.
• Support outpatient clinics and participate in faster cancer diagnosis pathways.
• Contribute to teaching, training, audit and research within Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
