Job summary

Pertemps Daventry is recruiting a Trainee/Graduate EMC Test Technician to join a specialist EMC testing provider. Based in Silverstone, the permanent role offers £26,000–£28,000 per year with full training from experienced professionals.

You will work in a modern laboratory testing components up to complete vehicles, with duties including setting up tests, operating equipment and documenting results. Training and development are emphasised.

Qualifications

• Soldering experience required.
• Solid grasp of electrical and electronic components.
• Genuine interest in building a technical career.
• Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EMC testing accurately and efficiently to required standards and timescales.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and test cables.
• Keep laboratory and test areas clean, organised and safe.
• Check latest documentation before testing begins.
• Record test results in line with ISO 17025 and internal procedures.
• Report inconsistencies relating to documentation, equipment or procedures.
