Job summary

Balance Education Limited is seeking a fully qualified electrician to join as an Electrical Installation Trainer/Assessor for the Medway area. The role involves training and assessing apprentice learners at various sites, with home-based office work and diary planning.

You must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and an AM2 certificate, plus at least five years in the trade. Salary ranges from 36,000 to 39,250 with car allowance, mileage, pension and generous holiday.

• Driving licence and access to a car.
• Minimum of 5 years working as an Electrician.

Responsibilities

• Training and assessing apprentice learners at various sites across the Medway area.
• Home-based (office work/diary planning) alongside site visits.
• Support Apprentices with building their NVQ Portfolio.
• Assess Apprentices evidence and electrical work in the workplace.
• Work with employers to support successful training of apprentices.

This is a trainee electrical installation training/assessing post for a qualified and experienced electrician.

No previous training or assessing experience is required for this post and full training and support is provided.

Our client is willing to take on a qualified electrician with electrical installation industry experience and support them with assessor training. My client is a successful and well established training provider specialising in electrical installation apprentice training.

• 36,000 to 39,250 Basic Salary

Essential experience and qualifications:-

• You must be a fully Qualified Electrician with either an NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent full recognised Apprenticeship and an AM2 certificate.
• Driving Licence and use of a car.
• A minimum of 5 years working as an Electrician in industry.
• A keen interest to work in education.
