The Forward Trust in Hull is recruiting a Trainee Drug and Alcohol Practitioner on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will receive structured training, supervision and support to gain hands-on experience while working toward a nationally recognised qualification.

You will shadow experienced colleagues, split time between practical work and study, and participate in compulsory therapy as part of the programme.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards completing a nationally recognised qualification.
• Understanding of recovery and vulnerable adults.

Responsabilités

• Supporting the planning and management of a caseload, ensuring work is organised effectively and completed within agreed deadlines.
• Assisting with initial, risk and comprehensive assessments to identify needs and inform treatment plans.
• Supporting service users to develop recovery plans that reflect their needs and goals.
• Reviewing ongoing care and treatment in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Co-facilitating groups, programmes and interventions, including one-to-one sessions.
• Contributing to effective multidisciplinary and integrated working to support positive outcomes.
• Developing skills in data collection and recording to support audits and reporting.
• Undertaking the second signatory process competencies.
