Job summary

The Boots Company PLC is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our store-based Pharmacy team in the UK. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals, dispensing prescriptions and advising customers while you train.

No prior experience is required; full training will be provided, and you will work within the healthcare department to build relationships with patients and promote safe, effective use of medicines.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
