Job summary

The Boots Company PLC in the UK is seeking a Dispenser to join our in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services while building strong relationships with patients.

You will dispense prescriptions, provide medicines advice, and help manage repeats and patient adherence, while following SOPs and safety standards. This role offers career development opportunities within Boots.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent) or currently pursuing and have completed the first year of an MPharm qualification.
• Current and valid UK right to work.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with the healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Assist patients with repeats and manage their medicines to promote adherence.
