Job summary

Greater Anglia in Norwich is recruiting for Trainee Depot Driver at our Norwich Depot. Full training and a uniform are provided upon joining. You will begin a rewarding railway career and work flexible shifts inside a safety‑critical environment.

This permanent, full‑time role offers £30,764 to £42,944 per year, with progression to a higher wage after completion of training. You must meet the eligibility checks, live within a reasonable distance to the depot, and be prepared for shifts including

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Operate trains safely within depot area and regulations.
• Couple and uncouple trains; perform shunting as required.
• Report faults and irregularities to ensure smooth operations.
