Job summary

Angle House Edmonton is seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our specialist orthodontic practice. You will support the clinical team, assist during procedures within your trainee scope, and develop the skills needed to qualify.

You will gain exposure to orthodontics and may travel to other practice locations to complete your Record of Experience, with training and guidance every step of the way.

Qualifications

• Enrolled on or willing to enrol onto a Dental Nursing course.
• Strong interest in starting a career in dentistry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Positive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to travel to other locations if required for training (RoE completion).

Responsibilities

• Support the clinical team with chairside assistance during dental procedures (within trainee scope)
• Maintain clean, safe, and sterile clinical environments in line with health and safety regulations
• Assist with patient care and ensure a positive patient experience
• Prepare and manage instruments, materials, and equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records as directed
• Support stock control and general practice organisation
• Work closely with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the practice
• Participate in training and development to successfully complete your qualification
